OMAHA, Neb. – Director of Tennis
Adam Summitt announced today the signing of Addison Miller to the women's tennis program for the 2020-21 season.
"I am excited to have Addison join our Maverick family," said Summitt. "She is a bright individual and an extremely hard worker. Addison has split her time with tennis and cross country, which is why she is a great athlete and has a lot of potential to her tennis game. I look forward to watching her develop on the court over the next four years."
The Edmond, Okla., native is a multi-time letterwinner at Deer Creek High School under head coach Craig Hays. Through her first three years, Miller earned fifth in the state at No. 1 singles as a junior and was named most valuable player for her team. As a sophomore, she earned third in the state at No. 2 singles and was named co-MVP of her team. In 2016, she was the only freshman to qualify for state in 6A at No. 1 singles.
She also played club for Greens Tennis under coach Randy Robinson.
Miller also lettered in cross country where her team is earned a state championship.
