OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics announced Thursday that it will hold its annual season ticket pick-up event for hockey and men's and women's basketball on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Baxter Arena.
Fans will be able to pick up their season tickets for all three sports. Student-athletes from each team plus the Maverick volleyball squad will be available for a meet-and-greet and autograph session featuring this year's schedule posters.
Season ticket holders and their families also are invited to a free skate at Holland Ice from 7:30-9 p.m.
For fans who cannot make the event, their season tickets will be mailed to them the following day.
The Omaha hockey team plays its first home game when it hosts Manitoba in an exhibition game on Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:07 p.m. Omaha men's basketball begins its home schedule against Midland on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Noon. Maverick women's basketball kicks off its home campaign with an exhibition game against Lakeland on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
