OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's soccer team fell 1-0 to UCLA on Saturday night at Caniglia Field in its lone exhibition of the season.
UCLA scored the only goal of the match in the 34
th minute when Eric Iloski weaved through traffic in the box to score from 15 yards out.

Ugo Tritz denied a Bruin penalty kick in the 32
nd minute before UCLA broke the scoreless tie.
Both teams posted seven shots and were given a pair of yellow cards while the Bruins held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The Mavericks officially begin the 2019 season on the road as Omaha takes on Cal on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. CT in Berkeley, Calif.
