Short-Handed Mavericks Battle to Scoreless Draw

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Despite playing the final 93 minutes a man down and being outshot 22-6, the Omaha men's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at San Diego State on Friday night.
 
The draw pushes Omaha to 3-8-4 on the year while the Aztecs move to 4-11-2 on the season.
 
How It Happened
  • Marcos Bautista took Omaha's first shot of the night, but his attempt was rejected by the Aztec keeper.
  • The Mavericks remained the aggressor early as Diego Gutierrez fired the Mavericks' second shot in the 16th minute that resulted in a save by SDSU's goalkeeper.
