Omaha Looks Ahead To Purdue Fort Wayne, Western Illinois

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha volleyball program continues its conference slate with a pair of road matches Friday, Nov. 8, and Monday, Nov. 11. 

Omaha travels to Purdue Fort Wayne for the Friday matchup at 6 p.m. and continues with a home match Monday at Noon against Western Illinois. 

OPENING SERVE
•    Omaha enters the weekend with a 14-12 overall record and a 7-5 Summit League mark after a week off. 
•    Last time out, the Mavericks fell 3-1 against South Dakota at home to open the month of November. 
•    The Mavericks currently sit in fourth in The Summit League standings behind South Dakota, Denver and Purdue Fort Wayne. 
•    Isabella Sade currently ranks third in the league with 3.56 kills per set while Sadie Limback ranks fourth with 3.41 kills per set in league play. 
•    Claire Mountjoy still ranks in the top five as a libero with 4.53 digs per set in league play – which ranks fourth – and has 467 total digs, which ranks second in the league. 
•    Sami Clarkson averages 11.16 assists per set for the second-highest in league play. 
•    Omaha looks to avenge a five-set loss to Purdue Fort Wayne back on Oct. 13. 
•    After the match against Purdue Fort Wayne, Omaha aims for the season sweep over the Leathernecks after defeating them in straight sets on Oct. 11 
•    The match against Western Illinois marks the final home contest for the Mavericks. 

LOOKING AHEAD 
Omaha wraps up the regular season with two road matches at Denver and South Dakota State. The Mavericks take on Denver Friday, Nov. 15 and follow up with a Sunday, Nov. 17 matchup against the Jackrabbits to conclude the regular season.
