NUMBER ONE IN OUR HEARTS
This Friday, Nov. 1, lone senior Courtney Morehead will be recognized for her contributions with the Maverick program on Senior Day after the match against South Dakota.

Morehead, who wears the jersey No. 1, has played in all 24 matches this season for the Mavericks with four starts. She averages 2.16 digs per set as a defensive specialist, which ranks third on the team.

SCOUTING ORAL ROBERTS
The Golden Eagles are 2-8 in league play and 6-18 overall. Oral Roberts defeated Omaha on Oct. 1 earlier this year in Tulsa after a five-set match. Since the 3-2 win over Omaha and the 3-1 win over South Dakota State, ORU is on a six-match skid.

Head coach Sheera Sirola is the winningest coach in Summit League history with 279 wins at the helm in 17 seasons. CeCe Madison leads the league with 380 total kills and ranks second with 3.96 kills per set in conference play. Oral Roberts leads the all-time series over Omaha 9-7.

SCOUTING SOUTH DAKOTA
Top-ranked South Dakota is on a historic season as the team is 21-1 overall and a perfect 10-0 in league play. The Coyotes' only loss is a 3-0 defeat at Iowa State back on Sept. 3.

South Dakota defeated Omaha in five sets on Oct. 4. In that match, Omaha battled back from a 2-0 deficit and forced a fifth set, but ultimately fell 15-11. Anne Rasmussen leads the league and ranks top-3 in the nation with 4.81 digs per set. Elisabeth Juhnke leads the league with 4.00 kills per set, followed by Nebraska transfer Sami Slaughter with 3.39 kills pet set.

Setter Madison Jurgens leads the conference with 11.37 assists per set, ahead of Omaha's Clarkson who averages 11.10. Leanne Williamson is in her fifth season at the helm of the program. The Coyotes are also the defending Summit League Tournament Champions from a season ago.
