Omaha Travels to Denver for Saturday Showdown

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha men's soccer team looks to remain unbeaten in Summit League play as the Mavericks battle Denver on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. CT in Denver, Colo.

 Scouting the Denver Pioneers
The Denver Pioneers enter Saturday's match with a 2-9-3 overall record and 0-2-1 mark in conference play after playing to a 1-1 draw at Tulsa on Tuesday.
 
The Pioneers have scored 12 goals in 14 matches this season while being shut out six times. The Denver offense is taking 10.4 shots per match with 37 percent of those on target.
 
The Denver defense has given up 20 goals this season while recording three shutouts. Opponents are shooting 13.2 shots per match, including 35.7 percent of those on goal. Goalkeeper Will Palmquist is 2-8-2 on the season with 38 saves, a .679 save percentage and 1.41 goals-against average.
 
Pioneers to Watch
No. 9 Preston Judd – leads team with nine points and four goals.
No. 19 Josh Drack – tied for the lead on team with nine points while dishing out a team-best three assists.
No. 91 Kengo Ohira – third on the team with a pair of goals on the season.

Denver leads the all-time series with Omaha, 7-1-2. The Pioneers won 1-0 over the Mavericks in the 2018 Summit League Final on Nov. 10, 2018 in Denver, Colo.

The Mavericks play their final home match of the season as Omaha hosts Oral Roberts on Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at Caniglia Field.
