OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's soccer team hits the road for the first time this season, visiting No. 13 UCLA this Wednesday.  Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. (CT) at Wallis Annenberg Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif.

From the Touch Line
•    Omaha picked up its first win of the season last Friday against Utah Valley, 2-0.
•    Diego Gutierrez led the Mavericks with a goal and an assist, while Martin Veys added a goal.
•    Seth Rinderknecht and Denzel Woods also picked up assists.
•    Ugo Tritz earned the shutout win in his first start of the season and made seven saves.
•    Nil Ayats made his first career start on Friday.
•    Omaha leads the Summit League in home attendance (2,628) and attendance (657).
•    The Summit League placed Rinderknecht and Stevie Siy on the League's Players to Watch list.
•    UNO qualified for the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament for the first time in program history in 2017.
•    Omaha, which has been a member of the Summit League since 2012, has two Summit League regular-season titles and one tournament crown in seven years.

Scouting Omaha
Omaha is 1-3 this season following a 2-0 victory over Utah Valley last Friday.  The Mavericks were 7-1-2 at home last season, including a record of 5-1-1 in non-conference games.  This season, UNO holds a 1-3 mark at Caniglia Field.

The Mavericks return 17 letterwinners, including five starters from last season's squad.  This year's new-look team has 13 newcomers, including four transfer athletes.

Bob Warming is in his first season as head coach of the Mavericks, posting a 1-3-0 record.  Warming is the third-winningest active NCAA Division I coach with 462 wins.

Scouting UCLA
UCLA is coming off a 1-0 win at Maryland on Saturday, putting it at 3-1 for the year.  The Bruins moved to No. 13 in the latest Top Drawer Soccer poll and No. 15 in the College Soccer News Top 30.  The most current United Soccer Coaches and Soccer America polls have yet to be released.

The Bruins are one of the top defensive teams in the nation so far this season, allowing 0.25 goals per game.  Their goals-against average ranks seventh in the nation.  This season, UCLA has three shutouts.  Goalkeepers Justin Garces and Cole Martinez each have played two games this season.  Martinez is 2-0 with a 0.00 goals-against average and a 1.00 save percentage.  Garces is 1-1 with a 0.50 goals-against average and a .800 save percentage.

Mohammed Kamara leads the team with eight points on four goals.  Matt Hundley is next with five points on two goals and an assist.

Series History with UCLA
Wednesday is the first regular-season meeting between Omaha and UCLA.  The Bruins, then ranked No. 4 nationally, defeated the Mavericks 5-2 in an exhibition game on Aug. 19, 2014.

The Mavericks open Summit League play against No. 6 Denver on Saturday, Sept. 22, Caniglia Field.  The match begins at 7 p.m.
