OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics announced today that it will hold its annual season ticket pick-up event for hockey and men's and women's basketball on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at Baxter Arena.
Fans will be able to pick up their season tickets for all three sports. They also can meet student-athletes from each team plus UNO volleyball. Team members will be signing this year's schedule posters.
Season ticket holders and their families also are invited to a free skate at Holland Ice from 7-9 p.m.
For those who cannot make the event, their season tickets will be mailed to them the following day.
The Omaha hockey team will play its first home game when it hosts Manitoba in an exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 5:07 p.m. Omaha men's basketball begins its home schedule against Buena Vista on Friday, Nov. 9 at 12:30 p.m. UNO women's basketball kicks off its home campaign with an exhibition game against Avila on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m.
Individual game tickets for hockey are on sale now. Individual game tickets for basketball will go on sale in October.
