JONESBORO, Ark. – The Omaha men's golf team took 13th place at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
The Mavericks shot a final-round score of 309 to finish at 911 for the tournament.  Host Arkansas State won the event with a score of 838.  ASU's "B" team finished second at 867, and Oral Roberts was third at 871.
Cole Christain led the Mavericks in scoring with a total of 225 that included a final-round tally of 78.  He finished 40th in the field of 74 golfers.  
David Huxham, 
Thirawat Chantrakantanond and 
Jonah Wright finished in a three-way tie for second on the team and 53rd overall at 230.  Huxham closed the 54-hole tournament with a round of 83 while Chantrakantanond and Wright both had cards of 76.
Pat Ravn finished the team scoring for UNO with a score of 243.  He shot 79 in the final round.
Austin Palubeskie, playing as an individual, shot 85 on Tuesday to post a total score of 251.
The Mavericks are back in action at the El Macero Classic hosted by UC Davis and Nevada on Friday-Sunday, April 13-15 in El Macero, Calif.
