NORMAL, Ill. – The Omaha men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Illinois State Saturday afternoon.
Illinois State won two of three doubles matches to claim the doubles point for an early 1-0 lead. Junior

Luke Moorhead teamed up at No. 3 to defeat Cameron Petersen and Egehan Sertkaya. ISU then won No. 1 and No. 2 doubles in a tiebreaker to take the point.
Abdoul Ouattara evened the match with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Christoffer Greve at No. 2. The Red Birds won straight-set matches at No. 6 and No. 1 to go in front 3-0.
Matt Dunn dropped a three-set match at No. 4 to Manuel Bernhard, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, to clinch the match for the Red Birds. Marco Minic and
Nathan Reekie each fell in three sets as ISU took the match 6-1.
Omaha finished the 2018 season at 10-17 overall and 5-11 in Summit League play, while the Redbirds improved to 12-8 (2-3).
