"I thought we played some better tennis today than we did yesterday," head coach
Adam Summitt said. "I thought our energy level was high throughout the match. Northern Colorado came to play and didn't give up in their matches; we stayed very composed when they started making runs. Overall, it was a good experience and we're ready for a quick turn around for Friday."
The Mavericks return to the courts on the road at Chicago State and Oakland on Friday, March 9 for a doubleheader at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
