OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's soccer team will embark on its second road trip of the season, taking on the Northern Illinois Huskies on Friday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m., before playing Utah Valley State at 2 p.m. on Sunday. Both games will be played at Clyde Field in Orem, Utah.

Scouting Report: Omaha
Last week, the Mavericks went 2-0-0 at home, blanking UC Riverside, 1-0, and rallying to defeat Bradley, 2-1.
Jacob Weiler scored the game's lone goal vs. Riverside.

Emmanuel Hamzat scored goals 17-seconds apart as the Mavericks raced past the Braves.
Maverick Bites
• Omaha is off to its best start in program history at 6-0. The Mavericks are 4-0 at home including a 5-1 victory over then No. 17 Virginia Tech. UNO also picked up a pair of 1-0 wins on the road vs. Houston Baptist and UTRGV.
• In the first six games, four different Mavericks have scored a goal. Overall, 10 different players have registered a point. Sophomore forward
Elvir Ibisevic leads the team in scoring with five goals and an assist for 11 points. Senior forward
Emmanuel Hamzat is second in scoring with four goals and an assist for nine points. Senior midfielder
Xavier Gomez is third with two goals and two assists for six points. Eight UNO players have registered at least two points.
Scouting Report: Northern Illinois
Northern Illinois is off to a 2-3 (0-0 MAC) start this season. The Huskies are coming off a 2-0 defeat at the hands of UTRGV in DeKalb, Ill., last weekend.
Offensively, Alex Welch leads Northern Illinois with four points on two goals. Logan Hatter has three points on a goal and an assist. Jan Maertins, Adrian Coardos, Nicholas Haas and Giovanni Pacheco each have goals on the season. Noah Brodie has a team-nest two assists.
Defensively, Drew Donnally (2-2) already has four starts in net this season with a 1.67 goals-against average and a .750 save percentage. Konrad Dziedzic (0-1) has one start with a 4.00 goals-against average.
History vs. Northern Illinois
Friday is the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
Scouting Report: Utah Valley
The Wolverines (3-1) host Sacramento State (2-3) on Friday before playing Omaha on Sunday. Utah Valley has been stellar this season with goalkeeper Elliott Rubio and the UVU back line allowing only two goals this season.
Offensively, Gui Leme leads Utah Valley with five points on two goals and an assist. Paul Hoffmeister, Nic Harguindeguy and Giovanny Vazquez each have one goal this season. Wheelwright already has three shutouts in net this season in 306 minutes of action.

Sunday is the first all-time meeting between Omaha and Utah Valley.
Looking Forward
After taking on Utah Valley, things do not get easier for the Mavericks. Omaha will then open Summit League play against Eastern Illinois in Charleston, Ill. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m.
