OMAHA, Neb. - The No. 21 Omaha men's soccer team begins a two-match road trip as it travels to Edinburg, Texas, to take part in the UTRGV Invitational this weekend. The Mavericks will play Houston Baptist on Friday, Sept. 1, before matching up with UTRGV on Sunday.

Scouting Omaha
The Mavericks opened the season with a 2-0 showing last weekend. Omaha topped Grand Canyon 2-1 in overtime before defeating No. 17 Virginia Tech 5-1.
Emmanuel Hamzat scored the golden goal for Omaha during the 98th minute against GCU.
Elvir Ibisevic scored a natural hat trick against the Hokies on Sunday.
UNO held the advantage in shots (32-19) and corner kicks (12-3) during the opening weekend and scored seven goals in 187 minutes of game time.
