COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Omaha men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to the Air Force Academy Friday evening.
The Mavericks were unable to gain any momentum in the doubles competition, as Air Force took the doubles point, winning at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, 6-2, and 6-4, respectively.
In singles competition, Nathan Reekie turned in a strong effort at No. 2 singles but ultimately fell to the Falcons' Isaac Perez, in a three-set tilt, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
UNO's Razvan Grigorescu took Max Olson to a three-set tilt of his own, but Olson came away with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles.
Omaha wraps up the regular-season on Saturday, April 22, visiting defending Summit League champions Denver. First serve is slated for 3 p.m. CT, and links to live stats are available on OMavs.com.
