OMAHA, Neb. – Zac Marquess scored the tying goal with less than 12 minutes remaining in regulation as Omaha played to a 2-2 draw with Penn on Sunday afternoon.

The draw moved the Mavericks to 2-1-3 on the year, while the Quakers went to 0-1-3 overall.

Trailing 2-1 entering the 79th minute, Marquess tied the game when he headed home a corner kick from Mark Moulton that got by goalkeeper Etan Mabourakh.

The Quakers went ahead in the 43rd minute when Matt Poplawski converted a penalty kick.

Penn regained the lead a little more than eight minutes later.  Joseph Ghitis blocked Alec Neumann's close range shot, but the rebound found its way to the foot of Sam Wancowicz.  Wancowicz gathered the shot and fired it into the back of the net for the 2-1 lead.
