Record Book Watch

Early in the 2016 season, it's never too early to glance at the Omaha soccer record book to see where current Mavericks stand.

Mark Moulton finds himself among the UNO elite when comparing career stats.  He currently sits second on the all-time goal-scoring chart with 13.  Vance Rookwood is the school's all-time leader with 19.

Moulton is second on the all-time points chart as he has amassed 44 points in 53 appearances for the Mavericks.  That mark is one point behind Rookwood, who tallied 45 points during his days in Omaha.  Moulton already owns the school career mark of 18 career assists.

Junior Joseph Ghitis is also ripe to move up some impressive charts during the season.

Ghitis is in the top three in four all-time categories.  He ranks third all-time in saves (62), wins (10) and shutouts (5).  He is the program's leader in save percentage (.738) and lowest goals-against average (1.03).
