JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The UNO men's soccer team fell 3-1 to Jacksonville on Friday night at Ashley Sports Complex.

The Dolphins, who finished third in the Atlantic Sun, improved to 9-7-2. UNO dropped to 1-10-1 and will face Stetson in its final match of the season on Saturday night.
After a scoreless first half in which both teams registered just two shots, Jacksonville got on the board when Chris Helms scored at the 58:35 mark. But at the 61:06 mark, the Mavericks earned a penalty kick. Thayer, a Millard West product, stepped up and buried the kick to tie the game at 1-1.
The Mavs' momentum was short-lived however. Jacksonville's Tyler Williams scored at the 62:34 mark on an assist from Nick Rodriguez for what proved to be the game-winning goal.
The Dolphins added their final goal at 67:10 when Stefan Durr scored off Rodriguez's second assist of the game.
