UNO Football Season Tickets Now On Sale

OMAHA, Neb. – Season tickets for University of Nebraska at Omaha football are on sale now through the UNO ticket office.  The Mavericks will begin the 2010 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 when they host in-state rival Nebraska-Kearney at Al F. Caniglia Field on the UNO campus.  They'll begin their third season in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association later in the month when they host defending national champion, Northwest Missouri State.

“We expect to have a very competitive team this season, and the MIAA always provides some of the best competition in Division II,” said #Trev Alberts#, UNO's Director of Athletics.  “We hope fans will take advantage of very affordable prices and support Omaha's Team.

“Our upcoming season has both great matchups and a fan-friendly schedule.  By opening the season with five straight home games, our fans can take advantage of the warmer weather to see some great football.”

This season, the Mavericks will host seven home games, up from five last season.  The season ticket package also includes a ticket to a potential NCAA home playoff game.  This means the price per ticket in the 2010 season ticket package has been reduced by a $1 per ticket compared to last season.  All season ticket renewals made on-line through omavs.com will receive a $4 discount off the $5 handling charge.

The season tickets for each section of Caniglia Field are as follows:

Chair Backs

The Mavericks also offer the opportunity to purchase a parking pass prior to the start of the season.  A general admission season parking pass will cost just $30.  A VIP parking season pass will cost $300.  It includes up to four (4) hospitality passes to the new HPER room overlooking the field with pre-game food and beverage and up to four (4) passes to HPER on each game day to enjoy the facilities.

UNO also announced today a change to the game times of two early season games.  The kick-off for the Mavs' game against Northwest Missouri State on Sept. 18 and Missouri Southern on Sept. 25 is now 6 p.m., giving UNO four straight night games to open the season.  The complete schedule can be found at omavs.com.
