Mahoney Cross Country Course

Mahoney Cross Country Course has served as the home of the Omaha Cross Country team since 2022. In 2025, the course hosted the Summit League Cross Country Championships.

The course also served as the host site of the 2025 Big East Cross Country Championships and High/Middle School Platte River Rumble, which is the largest annual cross country meet in the state.

The course features a 10-meter-wide grass running surface with a 402-meter starting chute. Natural cedar trees serve as wind barriers. The course design accommodates multiple race distances and allows for increased spectator friendliness.

The course is located inside Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, located at 28500 W Park Highway in Ashland, Neb.
