Nine Mavs Named to OWH's All-Nebraska Softball Team

OMAHA, Neb. – The University of Nebraska at Omaha softball team landed nine student-athletes from its 2010 roster on The World-Herald’s All-Nebraska Division II softball team, including junior pitcher Lindsey Slocum, who was voted honorary captain and Player of the Year.

Scarpello Named Midlands College Coach of the Year

OMAHA, Neb. - UNO softball coach Jeanne Scarpello has been named the Midlands College Women's Coach of the Year by the Omaha World Herald, the second time in her career that she has been so honored. She also earned the nod in 2001 when she guided the Mavericks to the NCAA Division II national championship.
